Woman Found Dead Inside Car At Peralta Canyon Park In Anaheim
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have launched a homicide investigation after a woman was found dead inside her car at a park in Anaheim.
Anaheim police said the incident unfolded at Peralta Canyon Park at 115 N. Pinney Drive just after 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to police, a man has been detained.
Though police didn't disclose the manner in which she had been killed, a video-journalist for CBS2/KCAL9 said she had been shot.
Two schools in the area were placed on lock-down, though students were not believed to have been in any danger.
No further details were released.
