If the county stays in the "high" level of COVID-19 activity for two consecutive weeks, an indoor mask-wearing mandate will return.
There are currently 54 cases, double from a week ago.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced Thursday that he approved a budget that allocates $100 million for the state to create its own insulin, a response to extremely high prices for the life-saving medication that have made it inaccessible to some people with diabetes.

Orange and San Bernardino Counties Planned Parenthood said it may increase to as much as 700%.
"The newest projected date of crossing the threshold of 10 admissions per 100,000 residents...is now next week on July 14," said Public Health Director Dr. Barbara Ferrer. If the county does cross the threshold, it will reinstate the indoor mask mandate on July 29.
Advocates want public health officials to step up efforts on reaching out to gay, bisexual or men who have sex with men since they are disproportionally affected by monkeypox.
According to the latest state data, there are currently 920 COVID-positive patients in county hospitals.
The county said there were 5,865 cases reported Saturday, 6,020 cases on Sunday and 3,528 cases on Monday.
County officials say 800 doses of the vaccine have already been administered locally.
Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer said people should stay home and skip the celebration if they feel sick or have tested positive.
To date, there have been 4,769 cases worldwide and 306 in the U.S.
According to the latest state figures released Tuesday, there are currently 807 COVID-positive patients in county hospitals.
The Supreme Court Friday overturned the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, which guaranteed a woman's right to abortion. The ruling sends the issue back to the states. CBS News chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford reports.
