Portugese FESTA

Today’s Festa features a parade with members of Portuguese clubs and council from throughout California bearing flags and richly-colored society banners, as well as junior and senior queens adorned in exquisite, ornately-embroidered and bejeweled royal capes and gowns; the parade precedes and follows a Mass and crowning of the incoming queens at St. Joesph’s church.
