A gentle giant is roaming the campus of Sac State and he's bringing some calm to students that need it. For many students, coming to college means leaving behind their “best friend” at home. Companion animals often provide emotional support, routine, and a sense of familiarity—key components of wellness. Duke helps fill that emotional gap.
