Free McDonald's For Students
As students prepare for their first day of school, McDonald's restaurants in Northern California are helping kick-start their year with a breakfast. On Tuesday, Sept. 15, participating restaurants will offer free breakfast to kindergarten through eighth grade students from 6:30-9:30 a.m. All students must be accompanied by an adult when visiting a participating McDonald's restaurant.

Gold Country Veteran Stand Down
Meals, clothing, haircuts, showers and more will be provided during the event. Sleeping arrangements will be provided for veterans and family members who wish to stay overnight. Three-hundred to four-hundred veterans from around the region are expected to attend.
