FORT WORTH (CBS11) – An O.D. Wyatt High School student who didn't want to be identified says he was inside the gym when a fight broke out between two girls.

That fight would quickly escalate into a stabbing.

The teen said, "I just seen two girls and they were just going crazy you know? And I just seen them start fighting."

Police say a 15-year old girl stabbed a 17-year old girl four times with a 2-and-half-inch blade from a pocket knife.

The victim was rushed to JPS Hospital where she received stitches and was being held overnight for observation.

Police say the fight was sparked by an argument over a text messages from a boy.

The 15-year-old attacker was arrested and taken to a juvenile detention center to face aggravated assault charges.

The teen who saw it happened says many students who were in the gym were left rattled by what they saw.

He added, "It's crazy man. I didn't know anybody had got stabbed. I just thought it was a normal fight."
