TIM HOWARD SAVES

The U.S. may be out of the World Cup, but goalie Tim Howard is still the talk social media.

24 hours after the U.S. was knocked out of World Cup competition, he was still trending on social media.

With a record setting 16 saves in yesterday's game, the hashtag "#ThingsTimHowardCouldSave" has taken off on Twitter.

People are posting pictures of him in this scene from the Matrix -- stopping bullets.

And my personal favorite, Tim could have saved Taylor Swift from Kanye West, when he interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV awards.

People were also saying on social media that Tim should be the next Secretary of Defense, prompting the real Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel to give him a call.

The Pentagon released this picture and said Secretary Hagel invited Tim and the team for a visit and told him with some training, he could someday become the real Secretary of Defense.

Tim himself who has gained more than 200 thousand Twitter followers since yesterday afternoon, posted this picture to his Facebook page today and wrote, "Im proud to suit up with every one of these guys. It's a tremendous honor to represent this country & a ride I'll never forget. Thx for joining."

CROSSFIT PROPOSAL

Extra points go to JP from Frisco, who put a lot of thought into his marriage.

His entire exercise class was in on the proposal, except of course his girlfriend, who had no idea what was going on.

This past Saturday, the whole class was doing burpees, one of the exercises Amanda hates -- when suddenly everybody stopped -- and then the music started.

JP, danced and lip synched "Marry You" by Bruno Mars before he got down on one knee to propose.

JP proposed at Frisco Crossfit because that's where the couple met.

Amanda said yes.

FIT VETERAN

A 77-year-old military veteran proves ain't nothin' but a number!

A YouTube video shows him finishing nearly 40 push-ups, alongside some much younger fellas, who have some trouble keeping up.

He only stops when two ladies come pull him to his feet.
