Some people are just born to play music.  Jim Brickman wanted to play the piano as long as he can remember, but his parents could not afford a piano.

"I started when I was about five years old.  My parents got me like a piece of green felt that had the notes written on it in magic marker.  I played the felt for about two years" said Jim Brickman.

Jim went on to record thirty nine albums including six gold and platinum albums and multiple number one singles.  He has also collaborated with folks like Johnny Mathis, Olivia Newton-John and Martina McBride for the love classic called "Valentine".

The Jim Brickman Christmas "Comfort and Joy Tour" comes to Bass Hall tomorrow night.  He will entertain with his fun show and play his new single called "A Little Bit of Christmas".

"A Little Bit of Christmas is really about how we get into the holiday season and there is a designated period where it's suppose to be peace on earth good will towards men, then when it's over it's now we are back to normal life" Brickman smiled.
