Iconic 11/22/63 Miniseries Scenes Filmed Today In Downtown Dallas

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) - Actor James Franco is scheduled to wrap up a Dallas film shoot for a Hulu television miniseries. For three days downtown roads closures have fueled frustrations for drivers.
There are rumors at the location that the actors will be filming the motorcade scene today. The suggestion alone brought a lot of tourists to the area around Dealey Plaza.
While there are a lot of movie fans excited about the production, there are others ready for everything to be done, so they can get around downtown easily once again.
Barricades went up at nine o'clock on the dot, for the second day in a row. The later start came after Warner Brothers Entertainment worked with the City of Dallas and pushed back the start time. The move was made to make it easier for commuters to get to work.
But Elm Street, Houston and several more roadways around Dealey Plaza are closed for through traffic again, until about 7 p.m.
People who make a living down had mixed opinions about the happenings. Some were excited about the publicity for the area, while others said the street closures have made it difficult for customers to patronize their businesses.
Customer Cat Hawk said, "You don't know your way around to begin with and then to have all the roads closed is very difficult."
McKinney resident Amy Storey stopped through to do some people watching. "We were actually going to the fair today anyway and then we heard about they were shooting this movie and thought it would be fun to see, because I read the book and loved it. So, I thought it would be exciting!"
A CBS 11 News crew got an close up look at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis character this morning. The actress was wearing the historic pink Chanel suit.
Overnight, a replica of The Sixth Floor Museum window went up on the roof of what used to be the Texas School Book Depository building.
