Fort Worth Police Locate Missing Man

Update: Police have located the missing man, and returned him safely to his home.

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) - Police in Fort Worth are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man with medical issues.

Gary Wendell Auvenshine was last seen at about 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the 1600 block of Clark Road. The 80-year-old man is thought to be driving a white 1991 Lincoln four-dour sedan with the Texas license plate BMS-2683.

Auvenshine has been described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 154 pounds. He has gray hair and gray eyes. Officials did not give any more specific details about his medical needs.

Anybody with information about the man's location is urged to contact the Fort Worth Police Department, or simply dial 911.
