Deadly Crash On Highway 287 In Mansfield

MANSFIELD (CBSDFW.COM) - One person was killed in a crash in the northbound lanes of U.S. 287 at Walnut Creek in Mansfield Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m.
Preliminary information has determined the truck was traveling south on U.S. 287.
The truck crossed the median, both lanes of north bound U.S. 287, on to the east side embankment, and in to the bridge pillar for the N. Walnut Creek Dr. bridge.
Traffic is being diverted to Walnut Creek.
The highway was shut down until shortly before 6:00 p.m.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
