The much-anticipated store, located at Mack Avenue and John R. Road, will add to the vibrant, growing food scene in Detroit.
In preparation for the Whole Foods opening in Detroit's Midtown, the store is hosting a local vendor fair at the end of this month.
The Whole Foods Market in development in mid-town is slated to open in the end of May or June, 2013. Job listings will be posted online starting April 2 according to a tweet by Detroit City Council President Charles Pugh posted February 12.
