At the Mackinac Policy Conference, executives from Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties met to discuss the issues facing their communities, their plans of action and how the problems of Detroit are affecting their counties.
"We want to make sure people understand the value that we have in Macomb County, but first we had to understand, brand it, and then start to market it," said Mark Hackel.
