Concussions are trending up in Detroit. The Lions played without two starters, tight end Tony Scheffler and outside linebacker Justin Durant, both suffering from concussion-like symptoms. Then in the fourth quarter, running back Jahvid Best was knocked out.
Calvin Johnson had seven catches for 113 yards (including his 300th career catch), but he was thrown to just once in the seven times the Lions were in the red zone.
For the first time since Dec. 5, 2010, the Lions have to rebound from a loss.
