Less than a week after the NFL draft, the newest Detroit Lions suited up to take part in the team's three-day rookie mini-camp.
"I think overall they did a pretty nice job," Caldwell said. "It's a great group of guys, very attentive, very focused, very serious group."
The Lions have signed five players they drafted and signed 12 undrafted rookie free agents, eight of whom play offense.
Detroit has made a point this offseason to make sure the team will not be in trouble if Bentley or Lawson cannot get healthy.
