Shaquille O'Neal is one of the greatest players to ever step on the hardwood.

His son is a big-time recruit and if it were up to dad he would go play at Michigan State, LSU (Shaq's Alma Mater) or Kentucky.

During Shaq's weekly podcast he started talking about his son Shareef's recruiting process and where he would like him to attend college.

The 6 foot 1 inch tall, 205 pound O'Neal is ranked as the 51st best player according to ESPN's rankings for the class of 2018.

Here is what Shaq said on his podcast according to ESPN.com:

"I would like my son to play for a coach that's going to teach him next-level stuff," O'Neal said on Monday's edition of "The Big Podcast With Shaq." "I have three in mind: Johnny Jones, LSU, because I know him personally, Calipari and the coach from Michigan State ... Tom Izzo. I've told my son many times, it's your decision and it is [his] decision. ... I need somebody that's gonna curse him out, treat him like a man. Those three guys are the ones I would like him to play for."

O'Neal told 247sports.com that his dad wants him to go to Kentucky.

"My dad actually wants me to lean towards Kentucky," O'Neal told Sean Scherer of 247Sports.

How awesome would it be to have an O'Neal play in the great state of Michigan? Shaq sitting front row at the Breslin Student Events Center would give the media some great quotes and even better entertainment.
