Rescuers Search Lake Michigan After Report Of Man Overboard
LUDINGTON, Mich. (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard is searching Lake Michigan off Big Sable Point in Mason County for a man reported overboard from a freighter.
A report from WPBN-WTOM says that the man went overboard about 1 a.m. Sunday from the Stewart J. Cort when the freighter was about four miles out from Big Sable.
A helicopter was brought in to help in the search.
Big Sable Point is north of Ludington.
