Automation Alley Welcomes Five New Foundation Members
The economic development community of Southeast Michigan gained five key partners this summer as Crain's Detroit Business, Greater Media Detroit, HP Enterprise Services, ITC Holdings, Corp. and Microsoft joined Automation Alley, Michigan's largest technology business association, as Foundation Members.
These companies are recognized leaders in their industries and in their dedication to economic growth. This level of membership represents a significant commitment to the values of Automation Alley and its stakeholders, as well as an investment in the regional economy.
"Foundation membership indicates a strong support of Automation Alley's mission -- to grow the innovation clusters of Southeast Michigan -- and a commitment to achieving this goal together," said Automation Alley executive director Ken Rogers. "Their financial support will bring more programs and services to the business community of Southeast Michigan and enhance the quality of the services we currently offer. Their leadership will guide the vision and activities of Automation Alley now and into the future."
Automation Alley currently has 56 Foundation Members, including technical, media, educational and governmental institutions. Foundation Members are those who make a minimum annual investment of $15,000 or more and are key stakeholders and recognized leaders in Southeast Michigan's technology community.
Foundation Members are recognized throughout Automation Alley's membership and promotional materials, presentations and publications, including the Automation Alley website, bi-weekly E-Newsletter and Events Calendar, and X-OLOGY magazine. Foundation Members also receive free, unlimited use of Automation Alley conference rooms and free registration for Automation Alley events.
In addition, participation in Automation Alley's Government Affairs Committee is available exclusively to Foundation Members. This committee works to build awareness of and support for the legislative priorities of Automation Alley members and stakeholders at the local, state and federal levels. Activities include securing opportunities for members to provide testimony before governmental committees, hosting legislative roundtables on issues impacting Southeast Michigan's technology business community, and connecting members to the legislative community.
