ANN ARBOR, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - The Ann Arbor Police Department arrested a suspect Monday in a stabbing incident that left two people injured

Police say the stabbing, which is believed to be connected to a domestic dispute, happened in the 2900 block of Braeburn Circle. 

At 7:30 a.m., officers found two female victims, a 42-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl, injured inside the home. They were taken to a local hospital. The woman was listed in critical condition, and the girl was in stable condition. 

Police say there was another child inside the home, but they were not injured. 

The suspect, the 49-year-old husband of the 42-year-old victim, left the home after the incident but was later arrested and is in custody. 

The investigation is ongoing.
