PONTIAC, Mich. (CBS DETROIT) - A fourth person has been charged in connection with the death of Commerce Township businessman Sam Simko.

Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald announced Tuesday that Christopher Matacia, 33, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was charged with felony murder, armed robbery, two counts of felony firearm and firearm-possession by a prohibited person.

Three other Cincinnati residents were previously charged in connection with the Jan. 13 robbery and murder of Simko.

The shooting happened at a Pontiac marijuana business that he co-owned; his business partner later found his body.

"The evidence suggests Sam Simko's murder was the result of a well-coordinated and cold-blooded robbery of his business," McDonald said in the press release. "Everyone involved in the senseless murder of Sam Simko will be brought to justice because Oakland County is, and must remain, a safe place to do business."

Felony murder has a maximum sentence of life without parole. Armed robbery has a maximum sentence of up to life in prison. Felony firearm has a mandatory two-year sentence, served consecutively to other charges. Possession of a firearm by a prohibited person has a maximum sentence of up to five years in prison.
