DTE Energy (NYSE: DTE) Friday reported second quarter 2013 net income of $105 million, or 60 cents a share, down from $146 million, or 86 cents a share in 2012. The company said the decline was due mostly to lower earnings at DTE Electric Co. as a result of abnormally hot weather in 2012.
