Woman Accused Of Burning Home She Was Housesitting
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- A Fort Collins woman who was housesitting a home that burned down in December has been arrested on allegations that she set the blaze.
Larimer County sheriff's officials say 30-year-old Tandi Renae McBlair was arrested late Wednesday on suspicion of first-degree arson. Bond was set at $10,000.
She is accused of setting a fire that destroyed a Fort Collins home on the night of Dec. 27. Authorities said Friday the motive is unknown, and it's unclear whether drugs or alcohol were involved.
McBlair didn't immediately respond to an email seeking comment Friday. The voice mailbox for the owners of the home wasn't accepting messages Friday afternoon.
