24-Year-Old Woman Identified In Crash Involving Fire Truck

WELLINGTON, Colo. (CBS4) - Authorities have identified the woman killed in a crash on Friday night along Interstate 25 north of Wellington.

They say Darienne Novack, 24, was not wearing a seatbelt as she lost control of her car and slammed into a fire truck.

Colorado State Patrol says icy conditions could be a factor.

The Colorado Department of Transportation says half of the traffic deaths last year involved unbuckled drivers.
