The Kindness of Kids
If you're a little short on inspiration these days, just look to your kids.
A friend of mine sent me a note on facebook that his young daughter, Jaelyn, wanted to do something to help the Japan tsunami victims.
So she had the bright idea to start making and selling hair accessories with all of the money going to Japan.
I thought how beautiful?
The compassion our children have for others can teach us so much.
Vic did a story recently on a kid from Chicago who was a Chicago Bears fan and bought a super bowl ring of refrigerator Perry's on eBay, auction or something like that. (Watch the video in the clip below)

He bought it and then gave it back to Mr. Perry.
Perry was apparently going through some financial troubles and needed the cash, and the boy couldn't stand the thought of the player being separated from his ring.
He used his college savings to pay for it and get it back to him.
I hope my daughter has this kind of spirit; the kind that sees people in pain and wants to do something about it.
I am moved by these children and so hope to teach my daughter (and have her teach me) the remarkable rewards of "giving."
