Shaquil Barrett Making Most Of Start - Sack & Forced Fumble, Broncos Lead Browns 13 -7 After 3
CLEVELAND (CBS4/The Sports Xchange) - The Broncos defense finally gave up some ground to open up the second half.
Josh McCown and company drove the ball 74 yards on their first drive and scored a touchdown on a McCown to tight end Gary Barnidge pass.
Shaquil Barrett, who started in place of injured DeMarcus Ware, is making the best of his opportunity and made several great tackles. With under five minutes left in the third quarter Barrett sacked McCown and forced a fumble.
But the Broncos were once again kept out of the end zone and had to settle for a Brandon McManus field goal to make it 13-7.
Barrett also batted a pass down later in the quarter.
