Bill To Get Rid Of Sales Tax On Women's Hygiene Products, Diapers Moves Forward In State Capitol
DENVER (CBS4)- State lawmakers are debating a bill that would do away with sales tax on women's hygiene products like tampons and pads, as well as diapers.
Supporters of the bill believe it would help make those products more affordable for everyone. Colorado sales tax adds 2.9% to the cost right now.
