Longmont May Expand Downtown Smoking, Vaping Ban
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)- The Longmont City Council is expected to vote on whether to expand a downtown smoking and loitering ban. According to the Daily Camera, the ban will impact mid-block breezeways and microplazas.
The ban would apply to vaping products, as well.
Restrictions on gathering or loitering in those spaces is also up for debate.
Officials say those areas have become places for after hours hangouts and have resulted in property damage.
The voting is scheduled for Tuesday.
