Warming Up To Start The New Week
DENVER (CBS4) - One more cold morning on Monday and then a little warming trend will begin.
After a weekend of record cold, heavy snow and big time travel problems high pressure will begin to bring in westerly winds and warming winds for the eastern plains. Both Monday and Tuesday will see lots of sunshine over the Front Range. Winds will be strong in the mountains and breezy in the Mile High City to start the week.
A weak cold front will dip into the region on Wednesday cooling temperatures and bringing in extra clouds for Denver along with a little bit of snow for the mountains. Then,we bounce back up in the 40s to finish the week.
By Friday night another storm system will blast into the state. This will give the Front Range and eastern Colorado a chance for snow Friday night into Saturday along with much colder temperatures for Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day.
