Windy conditions at Denver International Airport result in ground stop
The Federal Aviation Administration ordered a ground stop at Denver International Airport due to windy conditions on Monday evening.
The order was in effect until 7:15 p.m. It affected flights departing to Denver.
Approaching thunderstorms were producing 15 to 30 mph gusts across some of the runways.
