Breckenridge Brewery Installs Enough Solar Panels To Power 20% Of Its Annual Energy Consumption
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4)- Breckenridge Brewery is harnessing the sun in Colorado to help brew beer. The brewery in Littleton installed nearly 800 solar panels this week.
The new solar array will produce about 20% of the brewery's annual energy consumption. That works out to about 675,000 pounds of CO2 avoided each year.
This is part of a larger initiative by the brewers collective to be 100% powered by wind and solar by the end of the year.
