Annual Parade Of Homes Gets Going
DENVER (CBS4) - If you need some ideas for home improvements or are looking for a contractor, you might want to consider checking out the 2011 Parade of Homes.
Instead of being at a single site the homes are scattered across 19 municipalities on the Front Range, including Loveland, Castle Rock and Denver. There are a total of 64 homes as part of the tour this year.
"Our builders go through what's called a call for entry and they select the homes that they have up for sale that are new construction and they enter those in for the tour," Parade of Homes spokeswoman Vicki Pelletier said on the CBS4 Morning News on Sunday.
Pelletier works for the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver which puts on the event. See the complete interview with her below:
The homes on display vary in price. For the truly lavish homes, you'll want to check out Heritage Hills, which has seven homes all priced at over $1 million.
The event takes place for the next 4 weeks and tickets are free. Touring of homes takes place on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
