But their fame seemingly slipped away after a rival coach accused them of breaking residential boundary rules. Now, a new documentary called “One Golden Summer” gives the players a chance to speak. Joining Jackie Kostek are director Kevin Shaw and former Jackie Robinson West player DJ Butler.
A big celebration was being held Friday in west suburban Clarendon Hills, after their hometown baseball team returned home from their first-ever appearance in the Little League World Series.
