"We have been trending in the right direction of late with lower case rates and very few hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19, so we're happy to see this," Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady said.
Fauci, who is 81, is fully vaccinated and has been boosted twice, according to the National Institutes of Health.
The residents are all vaccinated and 15 of them are up to date with their boosters. A doctor is watching them all to see if they need antiviral pills.
The requirement will be dropped Sunday, June 12.
