The Atlanta Falcons had an early lead keeping the Green Bay Packers scoreless after the first quarter. The Packers turned it around scoring four touchdowns in the second quarter and held the Falcons back.
The Bears had a shot at the top-seed in the NFC going into the last week of the season, but the Atlanta Falcons beat the Carolina Panthers and enter the playoffs as the NFC favorite.
The Chicago Bears were hoping to take the No. 1 seed in the playoffs and two games determined this happening. They needed the Carolina Panthers to upset the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to beat or tie the New Orleans Saints. Atlanta spoiled this for the Bears before Chicago even took the field against Green Bay.
It's hard not to look too far ahead. With the Bears having locked up the two-seed in the NFC, it's only natural to envision how far the Bears could go.

This Bears' season has come as a surprise to most, and there's potential for it to get even more better before playoffs start.
