Report: College Hockey Could Be Played At Soldier Field In February 2013
(CBS) The universities of Wisconsin and Minnesota are mulling the idea of staging a hockey match at Soldier Field early next year, according to the Twitter post of a Wisconsin State Journal beat reporter.
The match -- or possibly a doubleheader -- would be played in February of 2013, reporter Andy Baggot Tweeted Friday.
Soldier Field is owned by the Chicago Park District and occasionally hosts non-Bears events, though typically not during the deep freeze of winter.
