A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized and a man received treatment after a shooting overnight on a CTA Red Line train

Police said the shooting happened on the train at the Sox-35th Street station Thursday just before 10 p.m. 

As yellow tape took over the inside of that train car, police were seen taking pictures where several evidence markers were placed on the ground near the train doors.

Police said the boy was shot in his left arm, and a 30-year-old man was shot in his left bicep.

The teenager was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in fair condition. The 30-year-old was treated at the scene by fire crews and refused to go to the hospital.

According to the Chicago Transit Authority, trains were disrupted between the Roosevelt and 63rd Street stops, prompting the request for Shuttle buses.

Police said they don't have a lot of info on the shooting as the victims are not cooperating. No arrests have been made as of Friday morning.

Investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
