Report: Illinois following national trend of anti semitic incidents
CHICAGO (CBS) — A new report finds anti-semitic incidents in the U.S. reached a record high last year when the Anti-Defamation League released its annual audit.
The group said incidents are up 140% from 2022.
Illinois is following that disturbing trend.
There were 211 incidents in Illinois last year, a 74% increase from the previous year.
Many of the incidents reported were for harassment.
