Girl, 17, Fatally Shot In Northwest Indiana
(CBS) -- A 17-year-old girl was killed in a shooting in Northwest Indiana on Wednesday.
Police say shooting took place in Gary at about 5:30 p.m. and that the car that the girl was a passenger in traveled to a McDonald's in the 3600 block of 169th Street in Hammond where the police were contacted.
The teenager is a resident of Illinois, police said. No one is in custody.
