Wednesday's Child: 12-year-old Cristian
Cristian, who goes by CJ, is a cheerful and affectionate young boy who brings joy to those around him with his frequent smiles and laughter.
He is polite, respectful, and enjoys connecting with others. CJ thrives during community outings, whether it's going to the movies, visiting local parks, or spending time outdoors when the weather is nice.
CJ has a special love for animals and enjoys sharing his drawings, proudly naming different animals and mimicking the sounds they make. He is creative and expressive, with interests in coloring, drawing, and writing.
CJ's favorite color is red, and he especially loves Spider-Man. If he could choose, he'd happily eat chicken and rice every day. CJ shows and receives affection through high-fives and hugs, making him a warm and engaging child who enjoys meaningful connections with others.

Since its inception in 1981, Wednesday's Child has been a collaboration of the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE), the Department of Children & Families and WBZ-TV/CBS Boston. Hosted by Jack Williams for 34 years, this weekly series has given a face and voice to the children who wait the longest for families. Wednesday's Child has helped find homes for hundreds of waiting children and continues to raise awareness about adoption from foster care.
