Moose Tails - From Ayer PD
Ayer PD units were out in full force this morning trying to corral a wayward Moose to try and keep it from wandering into the busy Ayer roadways. Det. Kellie Barhight and SRO Jen Bigelow found it charging through the woods after being spooked from barking dogs. The both did their best to try and not get run over as it ran past them.
As you can see, these majestic animals are HUGE and can easily injure a person if it wanted to crash into you. If you happen to cross paths with this moose (or any other moose for that matter), give it a lot of space as they can cover a lot of ground quickly.
