Wal-Mart Says Gift Receipt Problem Fixed
BOSTON (CBS) -- Wal-Mart is taking action after customers complained they were being short-changed.
WBZ-TV first reported last week that some people making returns with gift receipts didn't get the full purchase price back.
Now Wal-Mart says the confusion resulted from cashiers who weren't hitting the right button on the register.
The company sent out a storewide notification with instructions about how these transactions should be handled.
