Tom Brady Misses Practice On Tuesday
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Patriots practiced in the rain on Tuesday, but quarterback Tom Brady was nowhere to be found.
Fear not though, as Brady's absence was not due to an injury. Instead, it's related to his court conference scheduled for Wednesday in New York, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. This would be the first time Brady's legal battle over the DeflateGate mess has caused him to miss practice time at training camp.
With Brady absent, backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo took the majority of snaps during Tuesday's session, followed by newly signed passer Ryan Lindley.
The Patriots open their preseason Thursday night at Gillette Stadium against the Green Bay Packers.
