The Daily Talker: Police Photographer Leaks Pictures Of Bombing Suspect's Capture
In the wake of the "Rolling Stone" cover of marathon bombings suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, State Police photographer Sergeant Sean Murphy leaked photos of the night Tsarnaev was taken into custody without permission.
In contrast to the cover, these pictures show a dramatically different suspect.
These photos capture a bloodied Tsarnaev surrendering to SWAT teams with a red dot from a sniper's laser trained on his head.
Sergeant Murphy told Boston Magazine, the photos show "the real Boston bomber. Not someone fluffed and buffed for the cover of Rolling Stone magazine."
Sergeant Murphy has been suspended for one day and could face further discipline.
That is today's Daily Talker.
What punishment, if any, should Sergeant Murphy face for leaking these photos?
