Sox-Rays Game Suspended
The Red Sox game against the Tampa Bay Rays was suspended by rain Friday night with the teams tied 1-1 in the ninth inning.
The game will resume at 7:10pm Saturday, before the regularly scheduled game.
Sox' starter Josh Beckett pitched 7 innings, allowing 1 unearned run, 4 hits, 1 walk and 8 strikeouts.
Beckett hasn't had much help from his offense. The Sox only have 3 hits in the game, including a solo home run by Jason Varitek in the fifth inning.
