Somerset Firefighters Searching Taunton River For Missing Boater
SOMERSET (CBS) -- The Somerset Fire Department is searching for a man in the Taunton River who went boating Friday and didn't return.
Officials were notified Saturday morning by the Somerset Harbor Master that a man took a boat on the river from the Somerset Yacht Club. He brought the boat out around 5 p.m. on Friday, but never returned.
The man's car was still parked in the Club lot on Saturday morning.
As of 4 p.m., fire officials say the search is still ongoing.
