Rowley Police Investigate Report Of Robbery At Spud's Restaurant
ROWLEY (CBS) --- Police investigated a report of an apparent armed robbery at Spud's Restaurant along the Newburyport Turnpike, Monday morning.
Police tell WBZ NewsRadio 1030, it happened around 9 a.m., before the restaurant was even open. A man allegedly came to the door wearing a mask and holding a handgun.

Authorities tell WBZ NewsRadio 1030, they aren't sure if it was an attempted robbery or, if it was just a threat. Nothing was taken from the restaurant. The alleged suspect is at-large.
The restaurant was shut down for several hours before police reopened the restaurant.
