Report: Dolphins' Mike Pouncey Testifies Before Aaron Hernandez Grand Jury

BOSTON (CBS) — Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey has reportedly testified before a grand jury in the Aaron Hernandez case.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Pouncey missed practice Wednesday because he was in Massachusetts to testify.

The Dolphins did not confirm the report, only listing Pouncey's reason for missing practice as "non-injury."

Pouncey was reportedly served with a subpoena from investigators back in October following the Dolphins' game in Foxboro.

Pouncey and his twin brother, Maurkice, played college football with Hernandez at the University of Florida.

Hernandez is being held without bail while awaiting his trial for the murder of Odin Lloyd near Hernandez's mansion in North Attleboro last June.

The brothers caused a controversy last summer when they were photographed wearing hats with the phrase "Free Hernandez."

The Dolphins face the Patriots Sunday at 1 p.m. in Miami. You can watch the game on WBZ-TV.
