Red Sox Sign Ranaudo, Six Others
The Boston Red Sox beat the deadline of midnight last night to sign players from the first year player draft, announcing the signing of seven players, including first round supplemental selection and LSU pitcher Anthony Ranaudo.
Others to sign include second round pick Brandon Workman, third rounder Sean Coyle, 4th round selection Garin Cecchini, 7th round pick Chris Hernandez, 8th round pick Matthew Price, and 11th round selection Lucas LeBlanc.
In all the Sox signed 23 of their 52 selections overall, including 14 of their top 15
