Police Identify Woman Killed In Roxbury Shooting

BOSTON (CBS) -- Police have identified the woman killed Saturday afternoon in a Roxbury shooting as Brianna Bigby, 23, of Boston.

At about 3:2o p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a call about two people shot in the area of Columbus Avenue Washington Street. When they arrived, the officers found two people suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds, police said.

Bigby was pronounced dead at the scene while the other victim, a man in his early 20s, was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
