Man Killed In I-95 Rollover Crash In Peabody
PEABODY (CBS) -- A rollover crash on I-95 South left one person dead Wednesday morning.
The single-car crash happened near Exit 44 around 7:15 a.m., Mass. State Police said.
The man killed has not yet been identified.
State Police said the man was driving on I-95 South in a 2016 GMC Terrain when the SUV went into the breakdown lane and hit a guardrail, rolling over.
The man was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash left traffic backed up during the Wednesday morning commute.
All lanes were opened around 8:30 a.m., and the breakdown lane was closed as police investigated.
